The most wonderful time of the year is here, and the world’s most visited dinner attraction is ready to celebrate the holidays in the entertaining and inspiring “Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede” beginning Thursday, Oct. 29. The dinner show will transform into a sensational seasonal extravaganza including a full-scale Nativity, equestrian feats, stunning decor, seasonal music, a dazzling ice-skating performance, a Santa Claus sighting, a delicious four-course holiday feast and so much more festive fun.
“Christmas is such a special time at Stampede because we get to see families return year after year and make our show part of their own holiday traditions,” said Bryan Cossiboom, General Manager of the Stampede in Branson. “There’s so much excitement throughout the show, but one of the most meaningful moments comes when the arena grows quiet and we share the story of the very first Christmas through our living Nativity. We love being able to bring families together for an experience that celebrates both the joy and true meaning of the season.”
Stampede’s Christmas celebration is a jam-packed whirlwind of fun and festivities, bringing the wonder of the holiday season to life. Families will enjoy the “Magic of Toys” musical production starring the Sugar Plum Fairy as she brings toys to life in a breathtaking aerial display set to The Nutcracker Suite. In the sensational ice-skating segment, guests will see the Stampede arena transformed into a frozen wonderland where talented ice skaters dazzle the audience with their graceful skills on the holiday ice.
The true meaning of the season comes alive right before guests’ eyes with the birth of Jesus portrayed in a living Nativity with Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men atop camels, and shepherds leading donkeys and their flock of sheep. This Christmas spectacular also features a seasonal twist with a friendly rivalry between the North and South Poles, equestrian feats, music and comedy. Of course, no Christmas is complete without an appearance by Santa. Jolly Old St. Nick arrives in his sleigh as the Stampede's arena is transformed into a winter wonderland of freshly fallen snow.
The Christmas celebration is complemented by a four-course holiday feast featuring a whole rotisserie chicken, hickory-smoked pulled pork, homestyle mashed potatoes, buttery corn on the cob, creamy vegetable soup, homemade biscuit, a special holiday dessert and unlimited Coca-Cola® products, tea or coffee. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available upon request.
