Dolly Parton’s Stampede Wins Best Show & Best Live Music in Pigeon Forge

We’re excited to announce that Dolly Parton’s Stampede won Best Show and Best Live Music in this year’s Best of Pigeon Forge! This recognition means so much to us because it’s all thanks to our wonderful guests. We love being a place where visitors can gather with their loved ones and enjoy an evening of quality entertainment, and we look forward to continuing to be that place for years to come! We’re sharing more about the contest we won and what makes our Pigeon Forge show stand out below:

Best Show

We were voted the Best Show in Pigeon Forge! This category includes dinner theaters, comedy, music, and more, and we’re honored to have won. This is a familiar award for us, as Dolly Parton’s Stampede has won 1st place for Best Show eight times! We owe it all to our amazing guests who continue to vote for us year after year and show their support and appreciation for our show. There is nothing we take more pride in than putting on an incredible show that ages to enjoy, and we’re happy to know that you all love it!

Best Live Music

We’re also grateful to win Best Live Music in Pigeon Forge! This is a brand new category in the Best of Pigeon Forge contest, meaning Dolly Parton’s Stampede is the first to win it! The Live Music category recognizes an attraction in the Smoky Mountains that offers live musical entertainment. It included theaters, dinner shows, live concert performances, and attractions with house bands. Each Dolly Parton’s Stampede show features incredible musical productions and impressive performances, as well as live music in the Saloon before the show. We’re honored to be recognized for the live music at our attraction!

Best of Pigeon Forge

The Best of Pigeon Forge contest is held each summer to recognize and honor local businesses across a variety of categories. It gives both visitors and locals the opportunity to show their support for their favorite attractions, restaurants, and more. The nomination period runs for two weeks in May, during which visitors can submit their favorite businesses as nominees. The voting period begins in June and lasts for two months, during which people can vote for their top choices in each category. In August of each year, the winners are announced.

We love the Best of Pigeon Forge contest because we’re happy to see the support from all of our guests and to know that they enjoy visiting our attraction. In addition to winning Best Show for 8 years, we’ve also won Best Dinner Theater in 2019 and 2020, Best Indoor Attraction and Best Overall Attraction in 2019, and Best Attraction in 2020. We look forward to continuing to wow our guests for years to come!

When you take your seats in our 35,000-square-foot arena, you’ll get to witness unbelievable horse riding stunts, stunning musical productions, family-friendly comedy, breathtaking aerial performances, and more — all while enjoying a four-course feast. We’re also always evolving and incorporating ways for both new and returning guests to have a great time, keeping us at the forefront of your favorite Pigeon Forge attractions.

In 2024, we introduced our brand new Butterfly Dreams segment. The segment begins as our equestrian stars enter wearing beautiful butterfly wings and flutter around the arena in a choreographed formation. It continues with a display of blooming flower petals unfolding at center stage, flowers descending from high above the arena floor, and a kaleidoscope of captivating butterflies glowing and fluttering around. You won’t see anything quite like this segment anywhere else around! It’s one-of-a-kind moments like this that continue to make our show the best in Pigeon Forge. Other aspects of our show that set us apart from the rest include all the family-friendly elements of our attraction, from the Join the Stampede makeovers before the show to the hilarious antics of our resident comedian, Skeeter, as well as our pre-show. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy live bluegrass and country music in the Saloon before the main event begins, allowing them to see two shows for the price of one! From the moment you arrive at Dolly Parton’s Stampede to the moment you leave, you’ll be creating memories that will last long after the evening is over.
