2. Enjoy Unbeatable Fishing Opportunities

When you visit the Ozark Mountains, you can’t leave without taking in the beauty of the area and enjoying outdoor adventures! One of the best things to do if you’re in the Branson area is go fishing. Branson is home to unbeatable fishing opportunities! We recommend visiting Lake Taneycomo for the best trout fishing. About 90 percent of the fish caught in Lake Taneycomo are rainbow trout, and about 6-7 percent are brown trout. For the best bass fishing, head to Table Rock Lake. We recommend packing a picnic lunch and spending the afternoon fishing in Branson!

When you visit Silver Dollar City, the most popular theme park in Branson, you can take the Marvel Cave Tour! The theme park was actually built around the entrance to Marvel Cave. Included in your Silver Dollar City admission is a tour of this incredible limestone cave. You’ll travel 300 feet below the surface and enter the Cathedral Room — the largest cave entrance room in the United States. Your journey through the cave will be led by a trained guide who will share interesting stories about the historical or geographical importance of Marvel Cave. For an additional fee, take part in the Marvel Cave Lantern Tour, which takes you on an exclusive trek to the Mammoth Room of the cave with a lantern lighting your way.
