Your Guide to Navigating the Off-Season at Our Pigeon Forge Show

While the Smoky Mountain area doesn’t technically have an “off-season,” winter tends to be a less popular time to visit than the busy summer and fall seasons. At Dolly Parton’s Stampede, we take some time at the beginning of each year to allow our talented performers to rest and prepare for a brand-new season. To avoid any confusion you may have about when you can visit Dolly Parton’s Stampede, we’ve created a guide to navigating the off-season at our Pigeon Forge show.

Celebrate the New Year With Us

Dolly Parton’s Stampede is open through the first week of January. You’ll have the opportunity to see our incredible Christmas show before our season comes to a close. Open Select Dates in February

While we’re closed for the majority of January, we do open on select dates in February! If you’re visiting for a romantic Valentine’s Day trip, spend the evening with your sweetheart at Dolly Parton’s Stampede. Our show elevates the classic dinner and a movie date by providing an action-packed live performance and a four-course meal. Be sure to check our show schedule before your visit to see if we’re open on the dates you’ll be in town this February!

Other Things to Do in Pigeon Forge

Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud

Although we close for a short period of time during the off-season, that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun if you’re in town. Take the time to enjoy one of our sister shows in Pigeon Forge! Both Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud and The Comedy Barn are open on select dates in January. Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud highlights the longest-running family feud in history and features jaw-dropping stunts, singing and dancing, diving dogs and hillbillies, and an all-you-can-eat Southern dinner. The Comedy Barn is the most successful clean comedy show and features comedians, adorable animals, jugglers, ventriloquists, singers, and dancers. You’ll have a blast at either of these shows! Be sure to check their show schedules before your visit to see if they’re open while you’re in the area.

P.S. — if you’re missing Dolly Parton’s Stampede, purchase our creamy soup mix online and recreate our feast back at home!
