Magic is in the Air This Holiday Season at Dolly Parton's Stampede

The holidays are almost here, and the world’s most visited dinner attraction is decking the halls and preparing its equestrian stars and performers to celebrate the “Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede” beginning on Thursday, Oct. 23. The Stampede dinner show will transform into an alluring holiday extravaganza including a full-scale living Nativity, holiday décor, seasonal music, a Santa Claus sighting and a fabulous four-course holiday feast. Gallop into the magical world of Christmastime at Stampede, where holiday cheer, incredible performances and mouthwatering cuisine come together for an unforgettable celebration of the season.

Stampede’s Christmas celebration is packed with an entertaining whirlwind of fun and festivities, bringing the wonder of the holiday season to life. In “Elegance on Ice,” guests will see the Stampede arena transformed into a frozen wonderland where talented ice skaters dazzle the audience with their graceful skills. A living nativity scene reminds guests of the true meaning of Christmas, with the birth of Jesus re-enacted with Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men atop camels and shepherds leading donkeys and their flock of sheep.

This Christmas spectacular features holiday excitement that kids and kids at heart will love. The “Magic of Toys” segment stars the Sugar Plum Fairy, as she brings favorite toys to life in a whimsical aerial display set to the classic holiday sounds of “The Nutcracker.” Stampede’s elves – along with the audience - compete in friendly “reindeer games,” allowing guests to the dinner show to engage and cheer for their respective sides. Of course, no Christmas is complete without an appearance by Santa; Jolly Old St. Nick arrives with his sleigh of goodies as the Stampede's arena is transformed into a winter wonderland of fresh fallen snow.

“There’s nothing like sharing a big holiday feast and making Christmas memories with the ones you love, and that’s exactly what folks get when they come to my 'Christmas at Stampede' show,” Dolly said. “I think my favorite part is when our amazing cast brings the true meaning of Christmas to life with our full-scale living Nativity. It’s such a beautiful moment that takes you right back to that first Christmas night. I just love hearing how this show has become a treasured tradition for so many families year after year.”

The Christmas celebration is complemented by a four-course holiday feast featuring a whole rotisserie chicken, hickory-smoked pulled pork, homestyle mashed potatoes, buttery corn on the cob, creamy vegetable soup, hot buttery biscuit, a special holiday dessert and unlimited Coca-Cola® products, tea or coffee. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available by request.
