Magic is in the Air this Holiday Season at Dolly Parton's Stampede

The most wonderful time of the year is here, and the world’s most visited dinner attraction is ready to celebrate the holidays with a breathtaking new ice-skating act in the entertaining and inspiring “Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede” beginning Thursday, Oct. 24. The dinner show will transform into a sensational seasonal extravaganza including a full-scale Nativity, equestrian feats, stunning decor, seasonal music, a Santa Claus sighting and a delicious four-course holiday feast.

Stampede’s Christmas celebration is a jam-packed whirlwind of fun and festivities, bringing the wonder of the holiday season to life. In the new “Elegance on Ice,” guests will see the Stampede arena transformed into a frozen wonderland where talented ice skaters dazzle the audience with their graceful skills on the holiday ice.

“I love hearing from so many families that tell us that my Stampede in Branson has become one of their annual holiday traditions,” Dolly said. “When I think of my favorite Christmas traditions, they always include being surrounded by all my family and having something special to eat. Folks coming to my Stampede will have the greatest time making their own holiday memories when they sit down and have a big holiday feast while watching the ‘Christmas at Stampede’ show. I think my favorite parts are where our great performers celebrate the holiday’s true meaning with a full-scale living Nativity that will transport everyone back to that first Christmas.”

A living nativity scene reminds guests of the true meaning of Christmas, with the birth of Jesus re-enacted with Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men atop camels and shepherds leading donkeys and their flock of sheep. This Christmas spectacular features holiday excitement that kids and kids at heart will love. The “Magic of Toys” segment stars the Sugar Plum Fairy, as she brings favorite toys to life in a whimsical aerial display set to the classic holiday sounds of “The Nutcracker.” North Pole and South Pole elves compete in friendly “reindeer games,” allowing audience members to engage and cheer for their respective sides. Of course, no Christmas is complete without an appearance by Santa; Jolly Old St. Nick arrives with his sleigh of goodies as the Stampede's arena is transformed into a winter wonderland of fresh fallen snow.

The Christmas celebration is complemented by a four-course holiday feast featuring a whole rotisserie chicken, hickory-smoked pulled pork, homestyle mashed potatoes, buttery corn on the cob, creamy vegetable soup, hot buttery biscuit, a special holiday dessert and unlimited Coca-Cola® products, tea or coffee. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available by request.
