Dolly Parton’s Stampede in Branson Kicks Off On March 5th

The High Spirited Adventure returns to Branson, MO, on March 5th!

When Dolly Parton’s Stampede in Branson, Missouri, opens for its 27th season on March 5, guests quickly will understand why it’s called “the most fun place to eat in Branson.” Unlike any other entertainment and dining experience, Stampede features an exciting line-up of amazing equestrian showmanship, comedic fun and friendly competition that guests have loved for decades.

“Last season, we were privileged to bring families and friends together to create special memories at our show,” said Bryan Cossiboom, Dolly Parton’s Stampede General Manager. “Our cast and crew are excited to get the 2021 season started and once again showcase an entertaining experience and delicious food for guests to savor and enjoy together.”

From the moment visitors arrive, there are memories to be made around every corner. Guests can start by visiting the signature Horse Walk to snap a picture with a few of the show’s stars. The main show begins with Stampede’s talented cast of performers, who lead the show’s 32 magnificent horses through the performance. The show’s stars challenge each other in barrel races, trick ridings and other amazing stunts. Stampede also showcases a thundering herd of buffalo and a westward cattle drive of longhorn steer.

The show lineup features friendly competitions, foot-stomping music, and the crowd-pleasing “Canine Capers”; all the dogs participating in this portion of the show are rescue animals. Laughter also has a starring role, with comedic fun from audience-favorite Skeeter and hilarious racing pigs.

As competitions get underway in the show, guests may find their hands full, enjoying the attraction’s signature four-course feast, and must stomp their feet to “applaud.” Starting with the Stampede’s original creamy vegetable soup and homemade biscuit, guests will enjoy a whole rotisserie chicken, hickory-smoked barbequed pork loin, buttery corn on the cob, an herb-basted potato, the Stampede’s own specialty dessert and unlimited beverages, including Coca-Cola® products, tea and coffee. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meals are available upon request.

To conclude the Stampede experience, applause fills the arena as the talented riders and their horses come center-stage for a patriotic red, white and blue salute to the spirit of America, featuring a special song sung by Dolly Parton.

Stampede will continue to adhere to enhanced sanitation procedures and follow all other guidelines as provided by the CDC and State of Missouri.
